Our neighbors are taking a stand, and making it clear that the rampant racism that has proliferated throughout our country must come to an end, and that our elected officials and law enforcement must address the systemic pitfalls that ignore and actively work to oppress people of color.
Black Lives Matter is not, and should not be treated as, an arguable or controversial statement.
We understand that an email or a couple of posts on social media aren’t going to solve anything. Solutions come from the actions we take, and approaching life with unshakeable anti-racist intent.
As a small step forward, we are donating $2,000 to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and encourage everyone to consider learning about, and even getting involved with, one or more organizations fighting to support those oppressed by racial injustice.
We have always worked to make Such A Voice an inclusive and safe place for staff and students alike, and have no tolerance for hate in its many forms.
Everyone is encouraged to reach out to anyone on the leadership team if they would like to hold a conversation on this, or any subject, that will help us continue to build this company in a way that works for everyone.
