I have greatly enjoyed my coaching sessions with Ben Marney. He has helped me to analyze my scripts and feel comfortable in knowing how to appropriately read them. He has made me feel comfortable and has aknowledged the improvements I have made, yet pointed out the things that would make me even better. He uses positive criticism, and I feel has been a very valuable coach to me.
I feel he goes up and beyond the duty of performance. He has always felt genuinely concerned with making sure I feel I am getting every bit of the coaching I have paid for. I took a liason during the summer months due to another project I was currently working on, and he showed support and understanding and made sure that we hadn’t lost a beat when I resumed my lessons. I assure you, we hadn’t.
I feel like he is genuinely interested in me succeeding. He has excercised faith and motivation and confidence in me. It’s always a little nerve-wracking to prepare to move forward and begin the hard work of marketing a new career from the ground up, but I feel like I have Ben’s support and the knowledge to help get me going.
He has a really big heart, and that’s something a person either has or doesn’t. You can’t fake it. I wanted to let you know I am really glad to have worked with him, and wanted you guys to know what a great coach you have for your business. He is an accomplished and very active voice over artist. He has shared his own work, and that in itself is another valuable learning tool for me. I KNOW I am being coached by someone who is out there in our current market, in the current field, and making it work for him. I’m not being taught marketing techniques that worked twenty years ago in a different economic time period, and that is something I appreciate. No one likes to be taught old information when so much in the business field changes and evolves. Technology is the new era, and the Voice Over field is booming because of it.
